Saturday Youth program

 The heart of our program,  our Saturday Youth Program! 

Our Saturday program  provides creative and educational programs and services, field trips, life skills, counseling services and mentorship. Currently meeting virtually due to Covid-19 compliance, our program meets in a nurturing, welcoming environment every 1st and last Saturday of the month during the school year ( September - May ) and every Saturday during the summer ( June - August ). 

Our passionate and trained volunteers, mentors and staff commit to success by providing a safe environment where young men are given the tools and guidance to learn skills like budgeting, grooming and personal hygiene, build self-esteem, social, organization, domestic, communication, conflict resolution and teamwork. 

The Be an Example Youth Outreach Program focuses on building and fostering relationships by not only committing to the 5 C's ( Communication, Collaboration, Culture, Creativity, and Commitment ) but also by providing our young men with supportive and enriching experiences. 

We understand that the key to enriching a child’s life is to share your TIME, LOVE and PASSIONS with them. Our Saturday mentors and volunteers take pride in promoting the future successes of our youth by committing their time, attention, and participation in some kind of activity or community service project.

Our enrichment activities include but are not limited to:

• Books and Literacy : Encouraging our young men to READ!
• Exploring the Outdoors
• Eating Out : Disconnecting from phones and Bonding!
• Character Education : Teaching Boys how to grow into Men
• Community Service
• Field Trips
• College Tours
